Overview
CRI Advantage is seeking a Director of Finance to support financial operations and strategic business initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, payroll, and cross-functional business processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
As a key partner to executive leadership, the Director of Finance will provide financial insight into business performance, support decision-making, and drive improvements across financial systems and operational workflows.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership across financial operations including accounting, payroll, and reporting functions
Oversee monthly financial close processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and overall business health
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Partner with executive leadership to align financial insights with business strategy
Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risk
Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and financial obligations
Drive process improvements across financial systems and operational workflows
Ensure alignment between financial reporting and operational performance
Lead and support cross-functional teams across finance and operations
Manage financial systems including ERP platforms (e.g., Unanet) and payroll systems
Required Experience/Skills
5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business operations.
Experience in the IT Services business space.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems such as Unanet
Exposure to project accounting, cost tracking, or revenue recognition
MBA or advanced degree (completed or in progress)
Experience supporting executive-level decision-making
Background in process improvement or operational leadership

- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
