Yard Laborer
Job Summary
The Yard Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks assigned by the supervisor to support daily yard and plant operations. This is a full-time, year-round position with overtime opportunities available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Load customer vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Stock and organize inventory.
- Operate forklifts and loaders safely.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company attendance policies.
- Transport materials while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
- Assist with unloading trucks, including manual labor when required.
- Work cooperatively with coworkers, customers, and the public in a professional manner.
- Follow all OSHA/MSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other duties and positions as needed to support operational requirements.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities and learn additional plant functions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with team assistance or mechanical assistance.
- Ability to stand and work for the duration of an 8 to 12-hour shift.
- Ability to safely operate equipment and handle materials.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.

- Ability to adapt to schedule, location, and shift changes with short notice.
