Job Summary
This position is responsible for the dispatch function, coordinating with the sales department, shipping, receiving, customer, delivery truck services and the logistics operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in performing all tasks necessary to ensure that all vehicles and drivers are safe and in compliance with all legal and regulatory agencies
- Receive/verify incoming materials for facility
- Maintain the yard in an orderly fashion
- Schedule workload
- Work closely with the production to the team to determine items ready for delivery
- Coordinate daily delivery schedules based on sale’s request for product and product availability
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
- High school diploma / equivalent
- Must have experience in the field or a related area, at least 2 years is preferred
- Must have operating experience via forklfit
- Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Occasional overtime is required
- Lifting may be required with assistance provided if needed
- Payrate for this position is from $26-$28/hour
- Paid Time Off - 120 hours per calendar year (pro-rated in first year)
