Job Summary
Provide basic physical labor associated with the placement and finishing of concrete blocks and pavers.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in plant start-up as instructed
- Perform quality control on finished products being tumbled removing any product not meeting quality standards
- Stack/sort product on elevated pallets
- Manual stacking of product weighing up to 70 lbs
- Clean up designated area at end of shift
- Assist in other areas of plant as needed and directed by supervisor
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, or at least one year of related experience in trades specific to job requirements, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals
- Subject to temperature variations based on season
- Subject to exposure to noise and dust
- Use of PPE to include safety shoes, hard hats, ear and eye protection
