Job Summary
Fabrication of steel molds for concrete which includes use of hand and power tools, various cutting equipment, and welding part together per specifications. This is a union role.
Job Responsibilities
- Fabrication of steel molds
- Use hand and power tools, lifting equipment, plasma cutter, vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc.
- Welding parts together per specifications
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Job Requirements
- Must have experience in steel fabrication, at least 1 year is preferred
- High school diploma / equivalent
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Ability to read fractions, tape measures, and shop prints
- Understanding of basic hand and power tools and their use
- Capable of welding both horizontal and vertical, with ability to pass certification
Compensation
The hourly pay rate is $24.31/hr
