Job Description:
Sr. Manager – Strategy positions offered by Oldcastle Infrastructure, Inc. (Atlanta, Georgia). Work as a member of the leadership team, supporting the SVP of Strategy & Marketing on business strategy development and other key projects and administration of annual strategic planning activities. Collaborate with division presidents, business unit leaders and other members of the senior leadership team across the company on various strategy development initiatives and projects. On ad-hoc and project basis, perform and assess market and business intelligence, competitive intelligence, industry news and trends, and company information to assess strategic merits and fit of potential opportunities. Prepare detailed financial models to evaluate strategic avenues for growth. Take lead on preparing presentations and other deliverables for senior leadership in support of strategic initiatives. Lead cross-functional working teams, coordinating with a range of internal and external stakeholders, to advance exploration and development of detailed analysis and work products that inform strategic decision making. Assist with the development of strategic plans for companies and divisions. Conduct variance analysis and recommending corrective actions. Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and internal financial data to inform strategic decisions. Advise on cost optimization and profitability improvement strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field and 5 years of experience in corporate strategy, consulting, investment banking, or private equity field.
- Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
o Working with building products, building materials, or the construction industry;
o Project management skills, including leadership of strategic analysis and due diligence;
o Creation of Power Point slide decks and presentations with clear explanations and messaging of corporate strategy, with limited manager oversight;
o Financial modeling experience, including P&L analysis and cash flow modeling;
o Proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis; and
o Ability to manage multiple work streams and projects simultaneously. - In lieu of a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 5 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience as stated.
- Position reports to Atlanta, GA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
- Must be willing to travel domestically 25%.
- Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
