Job Summary
National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking an Electrician. The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. The address of the facility is 9609 W Market St in Colfax, NC 27235.
Job Responsibilities

Install electrical devices such as limit switches, lights, encoders, e-stops

Pull wire and make terminations of the complete electrical system for equipment

Ability to troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC’s

Troubleshoot controls, troubleshoot wiring issues

Install and wire new equipment per electrical drawings
-
Ability to perform light mechanical work, and able to work independently

Other duties may be assigned as needed
Job Requirements

High school diploma / equivalent or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience

At least 4 years of electrical experience preferred

Must be able to read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics

Testing electrical components with various meters to detect short, worn out or weak components and defective connections

Ability to understand and apply basic math skills
-
Ability to use power hand tools, tape measure, etc.

Working experience of voltages up to 480

Journeyman electrical license preferred
-
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
