Aramark Nexus is hiring Cooks to join our culinary team at the Caprock Workforce Community near Pampa, Texas.
This is a full-time culinary opportunity paying $20.00 per hour, with free room and board available on-site.
As a Cook at Caprock, you will prepare and cook meals in a high-volume food service environment serving a large residential workforce community. We are looking for dependable culinarians who take pride in food quality, work well as part of a team, and can maintain strong food safety and sanitation standards.
We welcome candidates with experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Prep Cook, Restaurant Cook, Grill Cook, Production Cook, or other food service and culinary positions.

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, menus, and production standards.
- Follow proper cooking techniques, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Support high-volume meal preparation and service.
- Prepare ingredients and complete food prep as needed.
- Operate grills, ovens, fryers, stovetops, and other commercial kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, temperature control, and proper food handling procedures.
- Properly store, label, rotate, and handle food products.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory as needed.
- Work as part of the culinary team to ensure meals are prepared accurately and on time.
- Follow workplace safety requirements and Aramark standards.
- Perform other culinary duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or professional food service experience preferred.
- Experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Prep Cook, Grill Cook, Production Cook, or Restaurant Cook is preferred.
- Ability to prepare food in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes, production sheets, and instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a culinary team.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of a commercial kitchen environment.
- Must be willing and able to work on-site at the Caprock Workforce Community near Pampa, Texas.
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
