Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting in preventive maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Various repairs to steel, aluminum, and composite molds for example but not limited to: cleaning, straightening, and occasional welding
- Repair and replace components on the molds such as hooks, cylinders, and vibrators
- Preventive maintenance as part of a team on plant equipment, motors, pumps, gearboxes, etc.
- Repair plant systems such as resin piping, compressed air piping, basic HVAC, etc.
- Identify safety hazards in the work area
- Facility maintenance and housekeeping
- Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred
- Follow All Safety, Environmental, and appropriate Policies and Guidelines
- Actively Participate in Company’s Continuous Improvement Programs
- Ability to read and interpret part numbers and engineering prints and have intermediate math skills
- Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
