Are you a seasoned entrepreneur or executive with a compelling career story? Are you ready to help business owners drive growth and position companies for a successful exit? Crews & co. is seeking a Growth Consultant in New York City to join the team.
Crews & co., helps small and medium-sized businesses increase their revenue, profitability and saleable value utilizing our Growth Method Operating System.
A Growth Consultant guides businesses in framing the journey, aligning vision and developing and executing the plan. While this position is remote, quarterly travel to client sites in the Austin, TX area is required. In addition, quarterly travel to consultant training in the New England area is also required.
The ideal candidate will have the following key qualifications:
- Ideally part of an exit while either an owner/partner or an SLT member.
- A strong track record of driving growth and transformations of companies.
- An Entrepreneur who has grown a company from the ground up to $10M , without an exit, and is now focused on helping fellow entrepreneurs scale their businesses.
- CEO, President, COO or Owner/Partner of a company with $2M revenue for at least 5 years.
- Robust professional network (500 LinkedIn Connections, 1,500 LinkedIn followers).
- Willingness to invest time and energy into Business Development while leveraging a professional network to build a 10 client book.
- Proven ability to work with small businesses to identify opportunities and drive growth while also meeting their current needs.
- Passion for helping companies win by driving revenue, profit and company valuation (RPV).
- Commitment to Growth System & Tools to help clients drive RPV.
- Embrace Crews & co Core Values.
- Deep understanding of business strategies, market dynamics, and effective leadership practices.
- Reside in the greater Austin, TX area.
- A Masters or Doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred, but not mandatory.
Additional Requirements/Considerations:
- Ideally has used a Business Operating System, or at a minimum, has a baseline knowledge of an Operating System (EOS, Scaling Up, etc).
- Familiar with financial reporting and able to do some degree of financial planning/modeling.
- Service background preferred.
- Experience in managing teams of over 50 employees, driving performance, and aligning efforts with company objectives.
- Good teachers are willing to have difficult conversations to help move people and companies forward.
- Ability to manage multiple clients.
- A “management geek” familiar with the teachings in Measure What Matters, Traction, Scaling Up, Simple Numbers, 5 Dysfunctions of a Team, Good to Great, etc.
- Team player who works well with other consultants.
- Motivated to help clients succeed.
