The Lead Teller is responsible for the overall daily operations of the teller line at the branch including following all bank procedures for a safe banking atmosphere for customers and employees. Provide quality customer service through mastery handling of routine over-the-counter transactions, advanced and complex branch transactions and for recognizing and acting upon cross sell and referral opportunities that present themselves during the transactions. Has a strong understanding of teller operations, reports and vault integrity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of teller and/or banking experience required
- Prior supervisory and mentoring experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, flexible and team-oriented work environment
- Knowledge of basic accounting, with experience reviewing numerical information and balancing
- Ability to accurately count and handle cash, and manage multiple tasks at once
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service
- Good attendance record
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Bilingual preferred
- Available to work Saturdays, if needed
