Immediate openings available in New York City.Please apply today by calling/texting Jery Almonte at 646-355-1825, emailing your resume to jery@crewforce.com, or applying directly to this posting by clicking “Apply” below.Lead Cable Technician Responsibilities:Lead and supervise crews performing structured cabling installations in commercial new construction and retrofit environmentsPull, route, dress, and terminate CAT5, CAT6, CAT6A, and related low-voltage cablingTerminate phone jacks and dress/terminate distribution frames (66 & 110 blocks, patch panels)Install and oversee support structures including ladder racks, equipment racks, j-hooks, and cable traysPerform rack & stack, IDF/MDF buildouts, server rack assembly, and patch panel installationsRead, interpret, and execute work from blueprints, schematics, and line diagramsCoordinate daily tasks, enforce quality control, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standardsCommunicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and clientsLead Cable Technician Requirements:5 years of commercial low voltage / structured cabling experienceProven experience leading crews or acting as a site leadStrong knowledge of BICSI, EIA, TIA, and NEC standardsExperience with fiber installations including SC/LC connectors, anaerobic terminations, and splicing (highly preferred)Ability to troubleshoot cabling issues and provide field solutionsMust have own basic telecom tools (punch down tools, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, PPE, etc.)Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive pay: $25–$40/hr, depending on experienceWeekly payMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance optionsReferral bonuses up to $250 for successful placementsIf you want, I can also:Tailor this specifically for union, data center, or enterprise workShorten it for Indeed/ZipRecruiterAdjust pay language to match NYC market rates more aggressivelyCompany DescriptionCrewforce specializes in placing low voltage and electrical talent across the nation and is an equal opportunity employer.
