Qualifications
- Proficient in safe tow truck operation, including loading, securing, and unloading a variety of vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, defensive driving practices, and DOT/compliance guidelines (where applicable).
- Ability to complete basic vehicle inspections, identify maintenance issues, and report or address them promptly.
- Effective communication and customer service skills when interacting with dispatch, clients, and team members.
- Good organizational skills for managing routes, schedules, and transport documentation accurately.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and work outdoors in varying weather while handling equipment and vehicle tie-downs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL and/or tow endorsement preferred, depending on vehicle class.
- Previous towing, commercial driving, or automotive transport experience strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional vocational or safety training in transportation is a plus.
