Responsibilities
- Perform exterior washing, vehicle paint correction, and buffing using automotive buffers and cleaning equipment to achieve a high-quality finish
- Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to ensure a spotless appearance
- Operate standard passenger cars and manual transmission vehicles safely within the auto detailing facility
- Follow safe work practices while handling heavy lifting tasks and using specialized automotive buffing tools
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the detailing process, ensuring all surfaces are properly cleaned and polished
- Use janitorial and custodial skills to keep the auto detailing facility organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards
- Assist with vehicle exterior washing and apply protective coatings or paint correction treatments as needed to enhance vehicle appearance
Experience
- Prior experience in auto detailing or a related automotive cleaning environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with automotive buffers, buffing techniques, and paint correction processes is a plus
- Experience with vehicle interior detailing, including cleaning upholstery and carpets, is advantageous
- Knowledge of safe work practices when handling cleaning equipment and heavy lifting tasks is essential
- Customer service skills are valuable for interacting professionally with clients and ensuring their satisfaction
