Position Summary
At Cretex, manufacturing excellence is at the core of what we do. We are seeking a Business Analyst who understands that a great ERP system is the backbone of a successful shop floor. This isn't just a "support" role—you will be the functional architect of our Epicor Kinetic environment, ensuring our end-to-end operations—from the moment an order is placed to the moment it ships—are seamless, automated, and efficient.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Optimize the Manufacturing Lifecycle: Own the functional health of our "Order to Cash," "Procure to Pay," and "Plan to Produce" workstreams.
- Architect Smart Solutions: Partner with production, warehouse, and supply chain leads to translate operational pain points into elegant technical solutions within Epicor Kinetic.
- Master the Data: Use the Epicor DMT (Data Management Tool) and SQL to manage complex data migrations, system upgrades, and integrations that keep our production lines moving.
- Bridge the Gap: Act as the vital link between the shop floor, the warehouse, and the IT development team, ensuring technology never stands in the way of output.
- Drive Quality & Accuracy: Lead the testing and validation of new features, ensuring our inventory, warehouse management, and production scheduling data is 100% reliable.
- Empower Our People: Develop clear, user-friendly documentation and provide hands-on training that turns our staff into confident Epicor users.
Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with business units, stakeholders, and end-users to gather, document, and refine business requirements, while analyzing current business processes and workflows to identify and recommend improvement opportunities.
System Design and Build:
- Design, build and implement software solutions that address identified business needs and requirements.
- Configure the ERP system to meet operational business process needs. If needed, utilize development tools, programming languages, and databases to create custom applications or modify existing systems.
- Expert in upgrades, DMT tool, and business process integration delivering ERP configurations aligned with manufacturing operation process needs.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans to validate software solutions against business requirements.
- Perform data validation and follow quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Identify and resolve software defects and issues to ensure optimal performance.
Documentation:
- Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional design specifications, technical design specifications, and user training.
- Maintain accurate records of system changes and updates.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system availability and reliability.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Present findings, progress, and proposed solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions and process improvements.
- Focus on delivering standard Epicor Kinetic supported solutions, including enhancements, while thoroughly understanding business operations.
Qualifications
Epicor Expertise: Proven experience configuring and supporting Epicor Kinetic. You know the system’s strengths and how to leverage them for manufacturing.
Operational DNA: You speak the language of manufacturing. You understand inventory flow, warehouse management (WMS), and production planning.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency with SQL Server and the Epicor DMT. You are comfortable navigating databases and visualizing data using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Analytical Mindset: You don’t just fix bugs; you find the root cause and optimize the process to prevent them from happening again.
Communication Skills: The ability to explain technical workflows to a Shop Foreman or a CEO with equal clarity.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma environments.
- Project Management experience or certifications (PMP, ScrumMaster, or Epicor certifications).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Pay Range
USD $89,000.00 - USD $118,000.00 /Yr.Pay Range Details
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.

20 hours:
