Service Plumber

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Small Projects/Service Plumber to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering quality plumbing services in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have the technical skills to handle various plumbing tasks, manage small-scale commercial projects, and provide expert service to our commercial clients.  Must be able to work independently as well with a team with a high sense of urgency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of plumbing tasks including installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting plumbing systems.
• Handle small to medium-sized commercial projects to code, ensuring timely and efficient completion while adhering to project timelines and budget.
• Install and replace pipes, fixtures, and equipment for water distribution, waste, vent, and other plumbing systems.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of plumbing systems to diagnose issues and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
• Work with service managers, estimators, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
• Ability to follow directions and complete scope of work as directed.  No selling required.
• Must be able to work at a high level without constant supervision and coaching.
• A teaching mentality is required and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

• Proven performance as a commercial plumber with at least 4 years of commercial plumbing experience with a focus on small projects and service work.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing codes.
• Candidates must be personable with a professional appearance and have a great customer service attitude.  Must be punctual by showing up to work consistently and on time.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid plumbing license, preferably a journeyworker or master plumbing license.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferably with trade certifications).
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a relatively clean record.
• Ability to pass a complete background check to work in schools and other government buildings, defense contractors, and daycares.
• Willingness to work on-call if needed.
• Drain Cleaning and Jetting experience preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of tanked and tankless water heaters, water fountains, floor mount and wall hung fixtures, boilers, and backflow devices is a plus.
• Familiarity with technology, computers, tablets, and phones.
• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated to complete tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Must have basic hand and power tools.  Specialty tools will be provided.
• Candidates must live in the Denver metro area.
