Our team is looking to hire a Commercial HVAC technician to troubleshoot, maintain, repair and install HVAC systems. Technician must have 3 years of HVAC Technician Service experience as well as an EPA 608 certification. This position will entail travel to AR, MS, LA and East TX 1-2 weeks a month from MON-THUR home on FRI, SAT, SUN, this is a union position with amazing Union benefits!

What You'll Do
- Perform routine repairs to pump seals, bearing, etc.
- Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.
- Determine customer concerns with HVAC and boiler systems.
- Follow standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
- Record and report faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
- Adjust system controls to setting recommended by manufacturer to balance system.
- Recommend, develop, or perform maintenance procedures such as cleaning, power-washing, or vacuuming equipment, lubricate parts, or changing filters.
- Install auxiliary components to heating-cooling equipment, such as expansion and discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues, and stokers, following blueprints
- Study blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturers' recommendations to ascertain the configuration of heating or cooling equipment components and to ensure the proper installation of components
- Fabricate, assemble, or install duct work or chassis parts, using portable metal-working tools or welding equipment
- Other duties as assigned
- 3 years of commercial HVAC maintenance experience
- Universally EPA Certified
- Ability to troubleshoot HVAC components with built up systems and package units, which may include chiller air handler pump towers, cooling towers, control systems, boilers and air handling systems
- Ability to learn commercial expertise in boilers, chillers, pneumatic controls, digital controls and packaged HVAC equipment
- Ability to read electronic schematics
- High School diploma/GED required equivalent work experience
