What You'll Do
- Perform field and laboratory testing of ready-mix concrete
- Conduct slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and strength testing
- Observe concrete placements and monitor product performance in the field
- Review and evaluate concrete mix designs
- Accurately document and communicate test results
- Troubleshoot quality concerns and recommend solutions
- Educate customers on concrete performance, testing procedures, and mix design applications
- Maintain, calibrate, and inspect testing equipment
- Partner with operations, dispatch, and production teams to continuously improve quality
- Serve as a professional technical representative of Crete Solutions on job sites throughout the Charlotte market
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I Certification
- Strength Testing Technician and/or Laboratory Technician Certification
- 2 years of concrete testing or quality control experience
- Knowledge of concrete mix designs and construction materials
- Experience working with contractors, inspectors, and construction professionals
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
