Duties
- Assist customers with laundry services, including operating coin and card-operated machines
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat, including washing stations, seating areas, and restrooms
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues
- Perform basic cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage laundry drop-off and pick-up processes, ensuring timely service delivery
- Keep the facility organized and stocked with supplies as needed
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and pricing adjustments
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous but not mandatory
- Experience with dry cleaning or laundry services is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
