Role And Responsibilities
- Performs supervisory responsibilities, as needed, to effectively manage personnel including interviewing, hiring, training, planning,
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships to meet or exceed customer expectations while optimizing the transportation
- Assists shop managers, operations associates, and drivers in adhering to timely maintenance of equipment.
- Monitors loading/unloading appointments and dispatches equipment as needed to assure daily on-time delivery.
- Monitors driver logbook hours to comply with Department of Transportation regulations.
- Participates in driver written and verbal warnings, physical paperwork preparation, orientation follow up and annual reviews
- Adjusts shift schedule as needed to cover when needed if manager or associate is not available
- Adheres to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Receives and carries out instructions.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
