Creswell School District is seeking a Cross Country Coach to join the outstanding coaching staff at Creswell Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate
- Skill in working positively with young adolescents
- Successful playing and or coaching at the middle or high school level
- Successful completion of fingerprint screening
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach fundamentals of Cross Country
- Plan and supervise practices and meets
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school personnel
GENERAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Assume a supervisory and teaching role with athletes
- Attend the Cross Country sign-up night
- Attend and plan the parent night
- Supervise team locker room, meets, practices and bus trips
- Design practices to build skills and strategies
- Oversee the CMS Cross Country program
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
- Good understanding of Cross Country and how to teach the skills
- Ability to work with young athletes
- Good communication skills
Coaching Stipends paid at the end of the season. Actual dollar amount varies based on experience and step placement in accordance with the certified bargaining agreement, Extra Duty Salaries.
