Life Enrichment Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to seniors in various settings including assisted living f, and memory care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aging issues and be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through supportive and recreational activities. This role requires effective communication skills and a passion for senior care.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Manager with the overall direction, planning, communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment Department.
• Support the Life Enrichment Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup, clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.

Skills

• Experience or knowledge in dementia care and memory care practices is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with seniors, and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help improve the lives of seniors.
