Plastic Machine Operator

• Monitors multiple high speed automated production machines to ensure quality production standards are achieved
• Verifies correctness of components from shop order to component number, to prevent mixed or wrong parts
• Performs quality checks visually
• Performs testing of assembled product
• Performs rework at machine and sorts machine scrap
• Performs recordkeeping duties using various production forms and a PC
• Performs and meets the requirements of ISO in all job activities

Required Qualifications

• MINIMUM 5 YEARS PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING EXPERIENCE (more $$)
• TEAM PLAYER, POSITIVITY, GRATITUDE
• Must possess high school diploma or GED
• Must be able to lift/move up to approximately 25 pounds (10% of shift) and reach above shoulder 5% of shift
• Must be able to scoop component parts weighing approximately 1 pound on a continuous basis
• Must be able to bend and push (20% of shift) cartons of product weighing up to 20 pounds throughout the shift (every 10-15 minutes)
• Must have good vision in order to perform visual inspection duties
• Must be able to hear warning signals and verbal alerts to avoid injury during manufacturing process
• Must be able to work as a member of a team, have high energy level and be able to work well under pressure
• MUST LIVE WITH IN 20 MINUTES OF MUNDELEIN, IL

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
