We are a busy Recreational Vehicle dealership is in need of Service Advisor.
Recreational Vehicle Service Advisor Job Responsibilities: Initiates RV services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer rapport and updating records.
Service Writer Advisor Job Duties:
- Ascertains problems and services needed by listening to customer's description of symptoms, clarifying description of problems, and conducting visual inspections and marking issues with blue tape while during the check in process.
- Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing clearly the symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
- Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates, selling services, and expected return dates of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers and email address; answering questions and concerns.
- Develops estimates calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
- Maintains vehicle records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
