Business Office Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Office Manager is primarily responsible for revenue cycle management. This includes but is not limited to: accounts payable and receivable, billing, record keeping, data management and information system reports. The Business Office Manager assures accurate and efficient information in accordance with professional accounting practices and government regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Must have Associate degree in accounting, healthcare administration or business management preferred or high school diploma with 5 years of business office experience in and/or related to healthcare billing.
Must Possess current knowledge of account receivable management, basic accounting procedures, insurance/third party billing procedures and computerized office system operation.
Must be Able to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to effectively guide direct reports, communicate with co-workers and relate and respond to upper management.
Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Preferred
Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community
