About the Position
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our property team. This position supports the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring the apartment community is well-maintained, safe, and functioning efficiently. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent service to residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks, including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance work.
- Support the completion of unit turns, including painting, cleaning, and general unit prep for new move ins.
- Help maintain facility equipment by performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of buildings, common areas and grounds.
- Assist with groundskeeping taks, seasonal work, and pool maintenance.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Respond to resident work orders in a timely, professional manner.
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as required.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests when scheduled.
