Houseman Job Description
Location: Marriott Anchorage Downtown
A houseman is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a hotel or resort. The houseman's duties include:
- Cleaning and maintaining public areas, and back-of-house areas
- Assisting housekeeping staff with laundry and other tasks as needed
- Stocking and replenishing supplies in guest rooms and public areas
- Assisting with guest requests and needs
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
