As a result, we have an exciting opportunity for a Spring-Summer 2026 Co-Op to join our Firmware Engineering BSP Team in Rockleigh, NJ.

This role has been designated for a hybrid work arrangement (in office days: TUE/WED/THU – remote days: MON/FRI).

Crestron Co-Ops can expect to be challenged with meaningful projects and tasks alongside professionals and subject matter experts in the field. Each Co-Op is assigned a dedicated mentor responsible for their development and acclimation to the company. Crestron also provides a variety of training and networking opportunities to participants in the program, aiming to present a comprehensive experience that enhances both technical and non-technical skill sets and prepares students for their professional careers.

Our Spring/Summer Co-Op program runs from January through August. Over the past several years, our internship and co-op programs have led to dozens of full-time offers to program alumni. We are committed to helping participants succeed by providing opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

A Co-Op in this role can expect to:

• Support efforts in evaluating audio/video streaming technologies
• Design and contribute to BSP infrastructure tasks
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

General Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in a college or university working toward a bachelors/masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field
• Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week during the entire internship period
• Must be commutable to and from the Rockleigh, NJ area for the duration of the internship period
• Must have permanent, unrestricted work authorization in the United States now and in the future
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Familiar with GIT and/or SVN SCM
• Proficient with C/C , Bash, or Python
• Familiar with multi-threaded development
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills at system and network levels
• Familiarity with Jenkins automation, Docker container is a plus
  
  

Other Skills:

• Must be responsible, self-motivated, creative, have a solid work ethic and have a desire to produce a quality product
• Strong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening) with the ability to articulate work at different levels of the organization
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Inquisitive individual with a desire to learn, possessing a long-term desire to work in developing next generation audio solutions
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
• Positive, personable, and able to work cohesively with others across various divisions
