What You’ll Do
Support Investor Engagement
- Prepare clear, articulate and detailed responses to investor inquiries related to fund performance, asset performance, portfolio composition, credit metrics, and investment activity
- Synthesize complex investment information into concise, professional materials for current and prospective investors
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly portfolio reports and presentations, partnering with deals teams and operations to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Develop and refine PowerPoint materials used in investor meetings, marketing efforts, and ongoing client communications
- Track and analyze key portfolio metrics, including yield, leverage, defaults, and recoveries
- Monitor developments in the direct lending market, including competitive dynamics, borrower demand, and macroeconomic trends impacting middle‑market credit
- Ensure data integrity across reports, presentations, and ad‑hoc analyses
- Manage assigned projects exercising sound judgment and prioritization
- Proactively identify information gaps, coordinate with internal teams, and drive deliverables to completion
- Support ad‑hoc initiatives as needed, adapting quickly to shifting priorities
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, direct lending, leveraged finance, or a related investment role
- Experience analyzing credit, financial statements, or investment performance; exposure to direct lending is a plus
- Working understanding of direct lending and private credit structures, including senior‑secured loans
- Familiarity with credit underwriting concepts and risk assessment for middle‑market companies
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to produce polished, investor‑ready materials
- Strong Excel skills for data presentation
- Incredibly high attention to detail with the parse through technical information clearly
- Self‑directed and accountable, with the ability to execute without step‑by‑step instructions
