Job Description:
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled DJ to join our team at Eight & Sand. This role involves curating an unforgettable audio experience for our guests while fostering a vibrant atmosphere in our Listening Lounge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vinyl Curation: Select and play a diverse range of vinyl records that align with the bar's vibe, ensuring an engaging and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Listening Lounge Management: Oversee the Listening Lounge area, maintaining a comfortable and inviting environment for patrons to relax and enjoy the music.
- Sound Control: Monitor and adjust sound levels, ensuring optimal audio quality. Provide support and guidance to guest DJs to enhance their performance.
- Guest Engagement: Interact with patrons, sharing insights about vinyl records and the music played, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
- Event Support: Assist in planning and executing special events, live performances, and themed nights to draw in diverse audiences.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all DJ equipment and sound systems are in good working order, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a DJ, particularly with vinyl records, is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of various music genres and an understanding of audio equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
