FINANCE DIRECTOR

CREST has a full-time opening for a Finance Director in our Boylston, MA facility.

OVERVIEW

Responsible for financial planning and analysis, general accounting, financial reporting, cash management and regulatory compliance

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Prepare budget and monthly forecasts. Build financial models to analyze data, evaluate trends, assess performance and provide insights to guide business decisions. Analyze job profitability.

Perform cash flow analysis. Manage cash and maintain bank line of credit

Collaborate with Finance team member to ensure timely GAAP-compliant accounting and to identify process improvement opportunities.

Manage the monthly closing process, including balance sheet review, bank account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and related tasks. Compare actual results with forecast and make updates to the forecast as needed.

Prepare annual financial reports using both accrual and cash-basis methods, with interim and ad hoc reports as required.

Research sales tax rules for different states, confirm that internal procedures support compliance, and submit returns.

Calculate annual production bonuses and recommend bonus plan changes as needed

Serve as the point of contact for the external CPA firm regarding financial and tax matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Over 10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in both public accounting and private industry.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
