Crest Robotics and Computing Academy is recruiting part-time after-school STEM faculty for Montgomery County, Maryland. This role involves 1–5 weekday classes, with 60-minute after-school classes for elementary-school students and afternoon availability from 2PM–5PM. School assignments and schedules are subject to confirmation.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage a classroom of up to 24 children ages 5–10.
- Engage students in fun and relevant lessons based on established curriculum and specific classroom needs.
Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience is a plus but not required.
- Comfort with computers, computer languages, logical thinking, and problem solving.
- Strong character and work ethic.
- Can-do attitude.
- Successful background check required.
