Lead Residential Service Plumber — Crest Plumbing, Cookeville TN
$40–$50/hr commission take-home van.
8AM–4PM, Monday through Friday.

We're Crest Plumbing. We're growing fast in Cookeville and we need one more top-tier service plumber to run a van. Not a helper. Not a guy we have to babysit. Somebody who can roll up to a house, talk to the homeowner like a neighbor, diagnose the problem, fix it right the first time, and leave the place cleaner than he found it.
If that's you, here's what we're putting on the table:
The truck. Brand-new Ford Transit High Roof, fully stocked, take it home every night. Company gas card. It's your van — you keep it clean, you keep it organized, you run your day out of it.
The money. $40–$50 an hour depending on what you bring. On top of that, real commission with performance bonuses and no cap. The guys hitting it hard are taking home serious money. We'll walk you through the actual numbers at the interview — not vague promises, real math.
The hours. 8 to 4, Monday through Friday. That's it. You'll be home for dinner, you'll have your weekends, and you'll actually see your kids grow up. We've built the business so our guys aren't burning out chasing 60-hour weeks just to make a living.
The schedule. On-call one weekend a month. Double time on every call you run during your rotation. Not time-and-a-half. Double.
The benefits (kick in after 90 days). 401k with company match. Two weeks PTO that you can actually use without somebody guilt-tripping you about it.
What you won't get here:
- Owners who've never held a wrench telling you how to do the job
- Dispatch loading you up with junk calls while somebody else gets the good ones
- Getting buried under a pile of paperwork after every call

What we expect from you:
- 5 years running residential service, ideally some light commercial mixed in
- Actively working toward your Tennessee plumbing license, or already credentialed and ready to roll. If you're partway there, we'll support you finishing it out.
- You can walk into any house in Cookeville and represent us right
- You take ownership. When something goes sideways, you handle it.
- You actually like this work
