What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary day-to-day advisor for a portfolio of employee benefits clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendor partners
- Lead benefit plan renewals, marketing efforts, requests for proposals (RFPs), and strategic planning initiatives
- Present renewal strategies, plan recommendations, and compliance updates to client leadership teams
- Coordinate benefit implementations, enrollment projects, plan changes, and vendor integrations
- Assist clients with claims, billing, administrative, and compliance-related questions
- Facilitate stewardship meetings and ongoing service reviews
- Partner with Producers to identify growth and cross-selling opportunities
- Mentor and support Account Management team members while helping drive service excellence
- Maintain accurate client records and activities within the agency management system
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits products, plan design, underwriting concepts, claims, billing, and administration
- Experience managing complex client relationships and consulting with executive-level decision-makers
- Understanding of employee benefits regulations, including ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, and related compliance requirements
- Exceptional communication, presentation, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering outstanding client service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Applied EPIC, Employee Navigator, and related technology platforms
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- High School Diploma/GED with substantial related experience considered
- 6 years of employee benefits insurance experience
- Active Health & Life Insurance License required
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed
