Key Responsibilities
Cresset’s Business Management Group is part of Cresset’s Sport and Entertainment (CSE) division, specializing in serving athletes and entertainers. Designed specifically for this unique clientele, we seek to provide comprehensive support across a full range of family office offerings, including white glove private banking, endorsement tracking, financial reporting, risk management, and concierge services. Our deep expertise in these areas enables us to navigate the distinct challenges and opportunities associated with careers in sports and entertainment.

Our clients include professional athletes, sports executives, athletic coaches, and entertainers. By focusing solely on this niche, we aim to simplify the complexities of contracts, endorsements, and personal finances, allowing our clients to excel in their fields while we handle everything that touches their wallet.
Position Overview
Cresset is seeking an Associate, Business Management Services, with 2 years of relevant experience managing the administrative and private banking needs for our athlete and entertainer clientele. The candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for clients and collaborate with an advisor to build strong relationships while driving retention and growth by providing superior client experience. This role includes seamless coordination of all Family Office Services, specifically tailored for athletes and entertainers, including but not limited to:
- White glove private banking and bill pay
- Endorsement tracking
- Financial reporting and budgeting
- Credit management
- Risk management
- Vendor Management
- Housing relocation and assistance
- Wealth planning
- Record keeping
- Lifestyle and concierge services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage client business management and administrative investment requests, ensuring comprehensive support tailored to the unique needs of athletes and entertainers.
- Organize all client intake from the client, their family, or the advisor.
- Serve as an executor and carry out the tasks associated with all business management services.
- Serve as a primary lead for client onboarding, investment implementation, and private banking services, ensuring a custom-tailored experience.
- Transfer and reconcile assets from contra firms and manage client billing, including cash raising and attribute assignments.
- Assist with inquiries regarding inflows and outflows and establish lines of credit/margin as required.
- Manage client donor advised and charitable distributions and facilitate tax document workflows with client CPAs.
- Attend quarterly client portfolio review meetings as needed, serving as a liaison between Cresset and clients’ CPAs and attorneys.
- Identify new technology and opportunities to enhance the client experience and promote internal scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2 years of financial services experience working with ultra-high net worth clients, preferably in the sports and entertainment sector.
- Familiarity with Fidelity, Schwab, and/or Pershing custodial platforms is a plus.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with creativity and innovation.
- Excellent multitasking abilities and organizational skills to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Established ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, peers, CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
