Learn more about us at https://learn4life.org/ How You Will Make an Impact The Tutor will provide academic support in the form of one-on-one or small group tutoring. The Tutor will help the student comprehend subject material in order to successfully complete the course. This position will perform other related school activities in support of student engagement and retention.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent, and Completion of at least two years of College (48 units), or Associate degree (or higher) from an accredited state college, or Pass a State or local academic assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction (California Basic Education Skills Test) Knowledgeable in Math and Reading teaching techniques is preferred Bilingual speaking skills is desired A demonstrated interest in a teaching career is desired Proficient in basic computer literacy and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) TRAVEL: Ability to travel in performance of job duties is required
