Primary responsibilites: Companion Animals: Restraint for treatments, preparing and administering treatments, Walking Boarders, Administering anesthesia under supervision, Running diagnostics (x rays and labwork), preparing sample for submission, we are a small staff, so cross training on just about everything and all tasks you can think off for companion pet care
Large Animal: Moving Cattle from pens and into chute, administering shots, vaccines, branding, assisting with dehorning, pulling calves, assisting with surgery, some goat, sheep and pig work. This can be a very loud environment.
Administrative: Help with inventory. Help lead team. Help with Training.
Some weekend dog walking may be needed and frequent short shifts on saturdays. Some generally very limited after hours care of patients and or emergencies.
We seek someone who can learn, owns the quality of their work, can communicate well, has emotional intelligence, has passion for what they do and how they do it and can have some fun. The work is hard, but we love it and have fun doing it. We want to elevate our practice and expect to do our best to make it worth your while financially and with positive support.
RVT encouraged to apply but not required. Pay is negotiated based on experience and desired benefits to some degree.
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
