Here is what you will be doing each day:
As our Engineering Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising the implementation of all property and equipment preventive maintenance and repairs, monitor life safety systems and utilities and assist in the administration of the department in compliance with all corporate standards and local, state and national codes and regulations to protect assets, guests and employees.

Must be able to recognize potential safety hazards and security problems in the hotel and act upon each accordingly. Be skilled in several areas such as HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems and equipment. Must be willing and able to be responsive to complaints about maintenance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Performing these duties requires experience in using basic hand and power tools and the ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push and pull weights up to 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 40 feet high and reach in all directions, often times overhead.

- Supervises administrative operations for an engineering department at hotel
- coordinates work orders, vendors, compliance, purchasing, scheduling, or CMMS systems
- supports hotel/property engineering leadership
- Experience with Transcendent preferred.
- Experience with Nuvola preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel supervisory experience preferred.

- 1st class boiler engineer license is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of progressive luxury hotel engineering experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
- Working knowledge of Building Management Systems
