The Commercial Lender will analyze complex financial data to structure deals, mitigate risk, and cultivate relationships with corporate clients.
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively identify, target, and acquire new commercial loan customers and deepen existing relationships.
- Credit Analysis & Underwriting: Analyze complex financial statements, tax returns, and cash flows to determine creditworthiness.
- Loan Structuring & Negotiation: Structure loan terms, rates, collateral, and covenants tailored to client needs while minimizing bank risk.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor loan performance, handle renewals, and manage workout cases to ensure maximum asset recovery.
- Committee Presentation: Present large, complex credit requests to Senior Management or the Executive Loan Committee.
- Compliance: Ensure all lending activities adhere to banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of commercial lending or credit analysis experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Skills
- Exceptional financial analysis, relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Deep understanding of commercial credit, risk management, and local market trends.
Pay range and compensation package
Up to $175K
