POSTED ON 2/19/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 8/17/2026

Crescent Real Estate LLC (“Crescent”) is a real estate operating company and investment advisor with assets under management, development and investment capacity of more than $10 billion. Crescent’s unique fund structure allows the company to be strategic in timing, property type and the structure in which it invests. Crescent has a broad real estate investment mandate, but primarily invests in hotels, multifamily and office – both existing acquisitions and new development. Crescent invests alongside institutional and ultra-high net worth clients in real estate and real estate related assets. Crescent has more than 100 employees and approximately $4.3 billion in assets under management.

Crescent is currently seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to join our Fund Accounting team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role offers significant ownership and visibility within a growing investment platform and works closely with senior leadership, investment teams, and external service providers. You will play a key role in maintaining best-in-class financial reporting while supporting complex capital activity, investor reporting, and audit processes across multiple institutional real estate funds and joint ventures.

This is the perfect job for you if:

  • You have a strong technical accounting foundation and enjoy owning the end-to-end fund reporting process.
  • You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally with investment, asset management, treasury, and investor relations teams.
  • You take initiative, operate independently, and are driven to continuously improve processes.
  • Of course, you must have integrity and a strong sense of ethics.

As our Fund Accounting Manager, a typical month might include the following:

  • Manage and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple real estate investment funds and joint ventures.
  • Prepare and review fund-level financial statements in accordance with GAAP and partnership agreements.
  • Coordinate with third-party fund administrators to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Partner with Treasury to produce capital call notices, distribution calculations, and support capital transactions, allocations, and waterfall mechanics.
  • Collaborate with accounting, asset management, treasury, and investor relations to produce quarterly investor reporting packages.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for annual fund audits, including preparation of financial statements, audit support schedules, and technical accounting documentation.
  • Support quarterly valuation processes by coordinating valuation inputs and related reporting.
  • Perform financial analysis and special projects for senior leadership.
  • Oversee and review work performed by third-party fund administrators to ensure quality and consistency.

You need to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • An active CPA license in good standing.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally including Big 4 public accounting or institutional real estate fund accounting experience.
  • Experience with complex real estate fund structures, joint ventures, and investor reporting.
  • Strong technical accounting, analytical, and organizational skills.

You will also need to:

  • Demonstrate the ability to independently manage complex reporting processes and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, external auditors, and service providers with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Be detail-oriented while maintaining the ability to see the broader business picture.
