What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Maintenance position at Crescent Pointe Golf Club?
Full time and part time Golf Course Maintenance is needed at Crescent Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, South Carolina. The Golf Course Maintenance department is responsible for maintaining the grass, turf, grounds, and plants, at the courses using standard manual and power lawn care equipment. Duties include but are not limited to mowing and weeding grass, laying sod, planting grass and fertilizing. Some experience using lawnmowers, leaf blowers, edger, and trimmers is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications
- The ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, and to sit, stand, kneel and walk for long periods, is required
- Qualified applicants will be comfortable working outdoors for long periods in varied weather conditions
- Applicants must be comfortable with the regular use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes
- Some previous experience as a landscaper is preferred, but not required
- Experience operating powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, leaf blowers, chainsaws preferred
- Successful pre-employment background check
