The Kitchen Supervisor supports the culinary leadership team by overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and safety across all stations. This role combines hands-on cooking responsibilities with team coordination, helping maintain smooth workflow, high standards, and timely execution of service for restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining.

- Supervise and support line cooks and prep staff during service to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking according to recipes, presentation, and portion standards.
- Ensure all dishes are delivered on time and meet luxury hotel quality expectations.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in accordance with HACCP and health regulations.
- Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering of supplies.
- Train and guide new culinary staff on procedures, safety, and service standards.
- Coordinate communication between kitchen stations and front-of-house teams.
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist the Sous Chef or Executive Chef with administrative tasks such as scheduling, prep lists, and daily shift briefings.
- Uphold a positive work environment and foster teamwork and professionalism.
- Prior experience as a Lead Line Cook, Demi Chef, or Kitchen Supervisor, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
- Leadership ability with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and inventory management.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in hot environments.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
