Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks Inspector (Full-Time) to assist in the inspection of cleaned guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Here is what you will be doing each day as an Inspector: 

• Assist in the inspection of cleaned guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assists with assignments of special requests, issuance of supplies to staff and logs items into the Lost & Found log as needed.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room. 
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Closely partner with Guest Room Attendants to ensure cleanliness standards are met and all assigned rooms are cleaned within their shifts.

  Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Does this sound like you? 

You possess a self-starting personality with an even disposition and can maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. You can communicate well with guests and are willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. You have working knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment along with the ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.  You are also able to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces. You understand & believe that every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day. 

• Guest Room Attendant, Housekeeping and/or Cleaning & Sanitizing experience is required.
• Our Inspectors must have flexible availability, including weekends.
