ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase room revenue, group bookings, and event sales
- Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate, group, and entertainment business
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular communication and site visits
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, rates, and proposals in line with hotel policies
- Conduct hotel tours for prospective clients and event planners
- Collaborate with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to align sales efforts
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as required
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM and PMS system
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 2 years prior Hotels sales experience is required
- Proficiency in sales systems (Delphi), hotel PMS, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of local NYC market dynamics and hospitality trends
- Self-starter, Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent relationship-building and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- BA in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
