Position Overview
The Head Tennis Professional is a premier leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality service and creating memorable experiences for members and resort guests. This individual serves as a subject matter expert across Tennis, Padel, and Pickleball, driving engagement through elite coaching, innovative programming, and a visible, professional presence. This role balances high-level on-court instruction with administrative oversight, marketing efforts, and cross-departmental event coordination.
Essential Responsibilities
On-Court Instruction & Leadership
- Multi-Sport Coaching: Deliver high-performance private and group lessons in Tennis, Padel, and Pickleball for all age groups and skill levels.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate and instruct on proper techniques, tactics, strategies, and safety protocols to improve overall gameplay.
- Clinic Management: Lead and facilitate diverse clinics, high-performance coaching, drop-in sessions, and round-robin tournaments.
- Staff Oversight: Oversee and manage the teaching schedules for the racquet sports staff to ensure optimal court coverage and instructional quality.
- Player Development: Maintain a meticulous record of players’ performance and rankings while tracking individual student progress.
Operations, Events & Marketing
- Event Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute special events, tournaments, and weekend packages.
- Collaborative Execution: Work closely with other resort departments to seamlessly produce large-scale tournaments and social events.
- Technical Services: Responsible for professional racket stringing services and maintaining knowledge of current equipment trends.
- Program Growth: Participate in sales and marketing efforts to increase membership and participation in clinics and leagues.
- Innovation: Introduce new events, particularly within the Padel and Pickleball programs, to expand member participation.

Qualifications & Employment Standards

Physical Requirements
