Position Summary
Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a professional, customer-focused Golf Shop Associate to support daily golf operations at the prestigious Cap Rock Clubhouse. This role serves as a primary point of contact for members and guests, assisting with tee time reservations, golfer check-in, retail sales, tournament support, and overall golf shop operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner.
- Manage tee time reservations, golfer check-in, and daily play schedules.
- Answer phone calls, provide course information, and respond to guest inquiries.
- Process retail and golf-related transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the golf shop.
- Maintain merchandise displays, visual presentation standards, and shop cleanliness.
- Receive, organize, and replenish inventory as needed.
- Support golf tournaments, member events, and special outings.
- Coordinate with Golf Operations staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Promote merchandise, golf programs, and resort offerings to members and guests.
- Maintain accurate records and follow established cash-handling procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Golf Operations leadership.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn golf management and point-of-sale systems.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred
- Previous golf, retail, hospitality, country club, or resort experience preferred.
- Knowledge of golf terminology and golf operations is a plus.
- Experience handling cash and retail transactions.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
