Lead Warehouse/Wire Cutter - 2nd Shift

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 11:30am - 8:00pm

Compensation:

• Wage: The expected rate of pay for this position is $26.50 - $28.00 hourly.
• Shift Premium: Paid at $1.25 per hour.

As the Value-Added Services Lead at Crescent Electric, you will oversee the daily operations of the Value-Added Services team; including, but not limited to, wire cutting, pipe cutting, inventory control, safety and housekeeping, and the direction of Value-Added Services staff activities.

Primary Duties:

• Assign work duties in the wire and pipe department, as needed.
• Meet with Value-Added Services Associates daily to answer questions, provide support, and deliver work instructions.
• Ensure a safe and hazard-free work environment.
• Identify deficiencies and/or areas of improvement and communicate to management team for resolution.
• Partner cross-functionally to rectify issues and address errors.
• Ensure appropriate training is provided to and completed by value-added services team members.
• Perform Value-Added Services Associate Level 1, 2, and 3 tasks, as needed.
• Communicate with supervisor and manager as needed when operation is not in accordance with organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws for further investigation.
• Uphold the values of the company and its culture, consistently demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and the highest standards of ethical behavior and professional conduct.

Skills:

• Reading and understanding cut tags and cut comments.
• Utilizing, or learn to use, all necessary computer software and industrial equipment.
• Verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet minimum productivity standards.
• Ability to be reliable, open to change, and adaptable.
• Ability to understand and follow general and/or written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and arithmetic.
• Ability to use contemporary merchandise processing equipment, such as hand-held scanners.
• Ability to use warehouse equipment and inventory systems.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification. 1 years of experience using a stand-up reach forklift, power pallet jacks, cherry picker, and sit-down forklift.
• 1 years of warehouse experience.
• 3 years of experience working in a wire cutting, CNC, machine operator, and/or production capacity.
• Proficient in Eclipse, specifically History Ledger, Change Log, Product Activity Log, and Location Maintenance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse terminology and practices.

Physical Demands:

Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping. Occasional sitting, talking/hearing. The use of hands/fingers are often needed.

• Ability to and comfort with working at heights of up to 28 ft. using powered equipment.
• Continuous lifting and carrying of 1-20 lbs.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of 21-50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of 51-100 lbs. with the assistance of a buddy-lift or a mechanical device.

Vision requirements for driving equipment and company vehicles include:

• Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
• Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more).
• Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point).
• Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
