Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support when necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents health status is maintained
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met in accordance with care plans
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas to uphold hygiene standards and create a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities is highly preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is advantageous
- Ability to perform personal care tasks safely and compassionately while respecting resident dignity
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families
