Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Production Operators to join our Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Chantilly, VA. Candidates should have hands-on experience manufacturing tablets or capsules in a GMP environment, including Compression, Granulation, Encapsulation, Coating, or Fluid Bed operations.
Must Have:
Responsibilities
- Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment for tablet and capsule production.
- Perform equipment setup, cleaning, changeovers, operation, and disassembly.
- Operate Compression, Granulation, Encapsulation, Coating, and Fluid Bed equipment.
- Follow GMP, SOPs, FDA regulations, and safety procedures.
- Complete batch records and production documentation.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
- Perform line clearance and equipment inspections.
- Maintain production quality standards.
- Capable of cleaning, setting up, dismantling, and operating state of the art tablet presses and encapsulation, i.e., Fette 3200i; Fette P 3030; MG2 planeta; Korsch XM 12.
- Knowledgeable of FDA regulations, GMP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.
Required:
✔ 3 years of Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing experience
✔ Experience with one or more:
- Tablet Compression
- Granulation
- Encapsulation (Hard Gel)
- Wurster Coating
- Tablet Coating
- Fluid Bed Dryers
- Bead Tower
✔ Experience operating pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
✔ GMP
✔ FDA regulations
✔ Batch Records
✔ SOPs
✔ Lean Manufacturing
Preferred
