Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders, and conducting regular audits to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Process retail sales transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service at the register
- Uphold food safety standards through proper food handling, cleaning, and sanitation procedures in line with health regulations
- Assist in food preparation and beverage service, including serving drinks and ensuring timely delivery to customers
- Support the café’s daily operations by managing cash handling, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or café environments with a strong focus on beverage preparation and retail sales transactions
- Barista experience with proficiency in coffee-making techniques and beverage service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly customer service
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management tasks
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper cleaning protocols
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
